200
As a friend pointed out, I'm heading towards 200 followers - or as I obviously like to term it 200 people of taste and discretion. She wondered if I was going to have a party. So maybe I should - what do you guys think? What should I do? Suggestions please!
Speaking of parties, have a look at this very funny post over Suburban Snapshots entitled Why having a toddler is like being at a frat party. Hilarious and the comments are brilliant! Via Oliver + S's tweet.
Definitely celebrate! I'll come!
ReplyDeleteI follow using an RSS feed- many others might as well - so I assume you are well beyond 200!
ReplyDeletewell done!!
ReplyDeletecan't wait for the party ♥
I'll come to your party but will have to clean myself up - I have tears streaming down my face and can hardly breathe from laughing at that 'toddler' post - it's a beauty. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWhy don't you do another quilt-a-long? that would be an awesome celebration.
ReplyDeleteYou should definitely have a party! Or at least celebrate in a hazelnut way!
ReplyDeleteHey, I'll follow you if you follow me! I will be having a celebration when I get 10 followers, you can only imagine the big blow out party if I ever get 200. So, be sure to party hardy for the big moment!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat about a blog candy? :)
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, let me say *sorry* for my bad english :D
ReplyDeleteBlog candies (aka giveaways) are some sort of "lottery" for the readers of our blogs :)
The owners offer little packages of goodies to (usually) one of the followers to thank them for visiting their blog :)
The RACK can be filled with scrapbooking articles, buttons, fabrics and so on... depending on the main activities of the owner :) For example i could give away some of my fat quarters (i do love american fabrics!) and scrapbooking paper :)
Sometimes owners offer some of their creations, too :) That's even sweeter imho :)
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome Jacqui :-*
ReplyDeleteYay! There's nothing worse than throwing a party that no-one comes to :)
ReplyDeleteOooo, explain? I like the idea of candy :)
ReplyDeleteBut then I'd have to learn to quilt! But do you know I actually got a fright
ReplyDeletewhen I read this because I was thinking "but I didn't do one...did I?" and I
honestly had to think a second. Old age... But you know I could do some
sort of sew-along maybe.
Well there you go - 9 followers now!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I know what you mean now. I guess we'd call them 'goodies' or
ReplyDeletesomething like that but actually I like the idea of using the word candy so
much better! Your comment really did get my mind working though, so I'll see
what I can come up with in the next day or so :) Thanks for the
inspiration!
